Behind the scenes: how we select each supplier

Behind every water fountain, every GPS collar, or every orthopedic mattress sold on Kuroki, there is rigorous selection work regarding our logistics partners and manufacturers. We reject the low-cost dropshipping model from the other side of the world that delivers damaged parcels in three weeks.

1. The requirement for regional (European) warehouses

To guarantee fast delivery times (between 2 and 5 business days) and completely eliminate any unpleasant surprises regarding customs fees upon delivery, we work exclusively with suppliers who have logistics warehouses based in France and the European Union.

2. Mandatory sample testing

No product joins our catalog based on simple factory photos. We systematically order samples that we submit to real-world testing:

• Resistance testing of seams and zippers.

• Verification of water resistance and noise levels of electronic devices.

• Validation of ease of cleaning and machine washability.

3. Structured returns logistics

Our partner suppliers integrate a returns management service (RMA) directly linked to our systems, allowing for the recycling or refurbishing of returned products in compliance with environmental standards.
